I had so much fun making this painting (YES IT'S A PAINTING, IT TURNS OUT I CAN PAINT! YAY!) That I am going to make two more. Coming at you soon! And I am particularly proud of myself because I usually have to cover everything with line. And no place on this piece did I draw in an capacity, and it worked! I'm feeling proud :)
Alright everyone! Now (much like my mini-zine project) this is going to turn into an ongoing thing a like to call: "Tiny Ukelele Concerts". I'm at the stage in my life where I am freely indulging my cheesiest self at any opportunity! This week on the Uke we have Joni Mitchell's Woodstock (as I have been on that kick lately) So here is my first installment. 3 chords and one ham! Sorry to water down your master piece Joni. #JoniMitchell#Woodstock#Ukelele
Ok, I seriously cannot quit with these mini-zines! They are so fun and easy to make. I ballpoint penned this one at work today, amidst chasing around screaming 3 year olds. Also, if anyone has a particular fancy for any of these that I have posted, or post going forward let me know. If you provide me with a mailing address I'd be happy to send a copy your way, free of charge!
I learned how to make really amazing and efficient mini-zines from a friend of mine yesterday, and so here is something I whipped out. The contents really personal and explicit, so if you're the kind of person that likes to pretend life is polite, this one is not for you. I'm also getting to this point in my life where I finally care about myself, I don't give a flying fuck what people think (unless you're my friends and loved ones of course ;-) ), and I actually want to speak out about the horrible shit people have done to me. It's all time.
I am a recent graduate of the University of Delaware's Master of Fine Arts program, and an undergraduate Alumni of The Cleveland Institute of Art (not to be confused with an AI school). I just relocated to Philly in late August where I am currently nannying to get by, and keeping my eyes peeled for arts opportunities. I am in the process of learning to play the banjo (I am new so I'm not all that great yet, but I am having a blast!) I also studied vocal performance for a long time, and taking singing seriously. I am very much looking forward to putting the two together someday soon. Enjoy the doodlings and musings of my mind/heart.
